Caprock’s Kristyn Oliver signs to play soccer at Hesston College – KFDA

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Caprock soccer star Kristyn Oliver signed on Wednesday to continue her soccer career at Hesston College.
Oliver is coming off two straight years as a second team all-district selection and made academic all-state during her senior season. During those last two years, Oliver also helped lead Caprock to back-to-back playoff appearances.
“It’s very exciting being able to have everyone here and have everyone come and support me.” Oliver said. “Going to the next level is a really exciting thing for any player, any sport to go and be able to do. For it to be me is really exciting just because it’s something I’ve been dreaming of since [I was] a little kid.”
In her career on the varsity squad, Oliver has netted six goals and racked up 12 assists with the Lady Longhorns.
The Hesston College women’s soccer team posted a record of 5-10-1 last season.
