Killington, Vermont – It’s safe to say that Camille Rast is a big fan of The Beast of the East.
The Swiss skier’s fantastic weekend started on Saturday with a strong performance at the Giant Slalom. She finished in third at the World Cup event, which was her first podium in Giant Slalom. Sara Hector got the dub, while Zrinka Ljutić finished in second.

Then came Sunday. In the Stifel Killington Cup Slalom event, Camille dominated, securing her first ever World Cup victory. Her combined time of 1:46.87 beat out Anna Swenn-Larsson and Wendy Holdener, who tied for second, by .57 seconds. This was her third podium in a row, with the first being at the Slalom event at Austria’s Gurgl.

After securing her first World Cup victory, Camille decided to head to the Killington Grand Resort Hotel’s pool and cannonballed into the water. Congrats to Camille and the Swiss Ski Team on a great weekend!
