ARLINGTON, Texas — North Texas artists and graphic designers have the chance to be part of history.
The FIFA World Cup 26 Dallas committee is holding a contest, allowing artists to design the host city poster. You’ll need to be a Texas resident, 18 years old or older and register before the deadline date of Nov. 11, 2024. Once you complete the registration, you’ll be sent information including a toolkit, guidelines, a playbook and a timeline of the overall decision process.
Up to three finalists will be selected to have their designs presented to FIFA and receive a $2,500 prize. The final winning design will receive a $5,000 prize.

For the first time ever, the FIFA World Cup will feature a “Super Bowl-like” halftime show during the final championship match.
AT&T Stadium, while it did not secure the World Cup Final, was awarded more matches in the tournament than any other venue (9). The 2026 World Cup will begin on June 11, 2026 and the final at MetLife Stadium will be held on July 19, 2026.
