The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) will be conducting the official Draw of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Qualifiers on Thursday, 12th December 2024, at the CAF Headquarters in Cairo.
The Draw will be conducted at 14h00 Cairo Time (12h00 GMT) and will be streamed Live on CAF’s Official YouTube channel, CAF TV.
Africa will host the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup for the first time when Morocco stages the global competition between 17 October – 08 November 2025.
Kenya, Nigeria and Zambia were the trio of African representatives at last year’s edition where Nigeria finished in the quarter-finals, while Kenya and Zambia’s campaigns concluded in the group stages.
For the qualifiers, a total of 28 African nations will be engaged for the five slots that will be available for Africa.
The 28 nations to be engaged are: Algeria, Benin, Botswana, Burundi, Cameroon, Central Africa, Congo, Congo DR, Cote d’Ivoire, Egypt, Eq. Guinea, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Gabon, Guinea, Kenya, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and World Cup Host country: Morocco.
