BYU will play an old conference foe.
BYU is scheduling an old conference rival as Colorado State announced both schools will play a home-and-home series beginning in 2026. BYU will play at Colorado State in 2026 and host the Rams in Provo in 2029.

BYU owns a 39-27-3 record versus the Rams, with the last matchup coming in 2010 when both schools were members of the MWC. BYU owns a 7-game winning streak; CSU’s last win versus BYU came in 2003.
Unless things change, BYU’s 2026 non-conference slate is full with 3 games. In addition to travelling to Fort Collins, BYU will also host Utah Tech and South Florida. For 2029, BYU has games scheduled with the Rams and a road trip to Ole Miss.
BYU still needs one more non-conference game to round out the 2025 schedule. Currently BYU has a home game with Southern Utah (SUU) and a road game at East Carolina.
