Last Time Out
The Bulldogs fell in both of their matchups last weekend, losing a close 1-0 matchup to No. 13 ranked Minnesota State Mankato on Friday before dropping their game against Concordia St. Paul 4-0 on Sunday.
UMD would keep the Mavericks scoreless throughout the first half of Friday’s matchup, limiting MSU to just four shots on goal throughout the opening 45 minutes. However, foul troubles would catch up to the Bulldogs as they collected 16 fouls and four yellows cards throughout the matchup, leading to a goal in the 72nd minute by MSU to close things out
UMD found themselves at an early deficit after a quick CSP in the 14th minute of Sunday’s matchup. Another four yellow cards against the Bulldogs would contribute to their inability to recover, while the Golden bears would continue to add onto their lead before the end of the game.
