“So before the game, we were really neck and neck. I thought we had a lot of similar opponents and matchups. I think the game plan that we had just worked really well; we kept getting long balls in and I thought, everybody’s buzzing before the game is ready to play. I really just got set up great by my teammate to score my goal. He played a great ball-in-the-box and I was just lucky enough to finish. The Viking soccer team also celebrated their teammate, Sophomore midfielder Hyland Yurchak’s birthday today, as cake and ice cream was distributed to the players and parents. Happy Birthday Hyland!
