“So before the game, we were really neck and neck. I thought we had a lot of similar opponents and matchups. I think the game plan that we had just worked really well; we kept getting long balls in and I thought, everybody’s buzzing before the game is ready to play. I really just got set up great by my teammate to score my goal. He played a great ball-in-the-box and I was just lucky enough to finish. I was buzzing after the goal, we celebrated well and It just feels great for sure.” -Will Donley (Valparaiso-Striker).

The Viking soccer team also celebrated their teammate, Sophomore midfielder Hyland Yurchak’s birthday today, as cake and ice cream was distributed to the players and parents. Happy Birthday Hyland!
