Boys Soccer: Hulmeville Demons reach national championships – phillyBurbs.com

The Hulmeville Demons Under-13 boys became the first Hulmeville Soccer Club to win the Eastern Regional Presidents Cup, earning them a trip to the national championships.
The Demons outscored their five opponents 16-0 in Charleston and Barboursville, West Virginia, culminating with a 2-0 victory over Parsippany (N.J.) SC Academy in the June 18 final.
David Lopez and Dylan Barnhart led the Hulmeville offense at eastern regionals, while midfielders Jeffrey Wolford, Shane Beeman and goalie Brennen Harvey were among those also excelling. The team is composed of players from Bensalem, Hulmeville and Levittown.
The Demons, who were the youngest Hulmeville team to win the state championship, will compete at nationals from July 12-16 in Wichita, Kansas.
They’re five wins from a national title, which is pretty impressive for a squad that barely had enough players to field a team at the Under-9 level in 2020.
“I really have the best group of boys I could imagine coaching,” said Jeff Wolford, who coaches the Demons with Rob Takakjy. “We are such a tight group with so much grit. They are some local boys who love to play soccer.”
A GoFundMe has been created to help with the cost of nationals.
