The fall 2024 boys and girls soccer seasons are now in the rearview, but the postseason accolades continue to file in.
All-state teams for both sports have been released, weighing players’ contributions against the best around New York state. Section V, winners of multiple state titles this season (both on the girls side), was widely recognized.
Here’s who was selected:
The girls soccer all-state teams are determined by the New York State Sportswriters and Coaches Association for Girls Sports. Selections are separated by classification.
Among dozens of selections, two Section V players were named players of the year for their respective classification: Pittsford Mendon’s Kate Crowley (Class A) and Byron-Bergen’s Mia Gray (Class C).

The senior goalkeeper was previously named to the Class A section tournament’s all-tournament team and one of Section V’s regular season players of the year.
Gray’s prolific season ended with the state title-clinching goal in overtime of the final against Stillwater-2. The junior midfielder totaled 40 goals and 105 points, both of which led Section V.
