On Friday, Blinkit announced that it will be delivering the all-new PlayStation 5 Slim edition in just 10 minutes. The quick commerce platform will be delivering the gaming console to its customers in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru in partnership with Sony.
Amid this, a customer’s rather unusual demand left the internet in stitches. So, according to a screenshot shared by Blinkit, the user demanded a play date with the delivery agent and declared it as his condition to buy the PlayStation 5 through the app. The user approached the customer care executive with his demand and wrote, “Bro listen…I will buy PS5 from you only on one condition.”
Upon asking, he replied, “Only if the rider stays back and plays FIFA with me. I need someone to practice to beat my friends later.”
“Bro, please hesitate,” Blinkit wrote while sharing the post.

Needless to say, the post went viral with lakhs of views and social media users were amused.
“Kidnapping it is,” one user joked. Another user questioned, “Can this be another business vertical?”
“Bro you should seriously consider this offer. I would totally get another PS5 if the delivery person stays to play Rocket league or Genshin with me,” a third user wrote.
A fourth user commented, “Haha. This should be done. Please let the rider tag along for at least one game.”
The viral post also caught Blinkit’s CEO Albinder Dhindsa’s attention who retweeted it with a face-palm emoji.

Meanwhile, according to Dhindsa, customers in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru can place an order for the PlayStation 5 Slim or the PlayStation 5 Slim Digital editions with the DualSense controllers.
