Blind Cricket T20 World Cup schedule announced – TIMES OF KARACHI


The schedule of the 4th edition of the Blind Cricket T20 World Cup has been announced with Pakistan to host the event later this month.
As per the World Blind Cricket Council (WBCC), the mega event – scheduled to kick off in Lahore on November 23 – will feature blind cricket teams of Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, South Africa, Nepal, and Afghanistan.
South Africa and host team Pakistan will play the opening match of the tournament on November 23 at the Ghani Institute of Cricket Ground located in Lahore’s DHA area.
Meanwhile, the arch-rivals, India and Pakistan, will face each other on November 25.
The Indian team will be defending their title in the mega event.
The teams participating in the event will arrive in the host country by November 21 and the opening ceremony of the Blind Cricket T20 World Cup will be held on November 22 in Lahore.
As per the schedule, Lahore will host 15 matches of the event, while the matches including the semifinals and final will be played in Multan.we
