COLUMBIA, Mo. — An up-and-down season for Arkansas football ended on a low, with the Razorbacks once again tasting defeat on the road against Missouri.
The No. 21 Tigers (9-3, 5-3 SEC) topped the Razorbacks (6-6, 3-5) 28-21 Saturday. Brady Cook scored the game-winning touchdown on a 30-yard run off a quarterback draw with 1:53 remaining.
Missouri also scored 14 points off two Arkansas turnovers, and those giveaways played a major role. The Hogs led 14-10 entering the fourth quarter and 21-20 late in the game, but they could not hang on.
Taylen Green and Ja’Quinden Jackson each had a fumble recovered by the Tigers. Jackson scored a pair of rushing touchdowns and finished with 87 yards, but his production was not enough.
Overall, Arkansas out-gained Missouri by 14 yards. Neither team passed the ball effectively in the weather, and Taylen Green finished the evening 21 of 35 for 229 yards.
