The finish of the Arizona State vs Oklahoma State Big 12 college football game can be seen on FOX in Arizona and Oklahoma.
For out of market fans, it can be seen on FS1 and FS2.
The game is scheduled to resume at 5 p.m. MST and 7 p.m. in Oklahoma after as lengthy weather delay. ASU holds a 21-14 lead entering the second half of action at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater.
The ASU vs Oklahoma State Big 12 college football game is scheduled to resume at 5 p.m. MST (7 p.m. in Oklahoma).
The game, which is being played at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma, has been in a weather delay because of lightning in the area. It has also rained heavily at the stadium.
ASU leads Oklahoma State at the half, 21-14. The Cowboys will receive the ball to start the second half.
The teams are scheduled to begin warming up at 4:30 p.m. MST.
Some writers at the game have speculated about what time the ASU football vs Oklahoma State game could resume, if it in fact resumes.
Might it start again around 6 p.m. MST? Again, it’s all just speculation at this point as we wait to see if the weather will cooperate enough to resume this Big 12 Conference game in Stillwater.
Oklahoma State Athletics posted the following update: “Fans, there is another band of storms approaching the area. The delay could be lengthy. Sit tight and we will update you as we know more information.”
The ASU vs Oklahoma State game is in a weather delay because of lightning in the area.
The game was moved up from a 4 p.m. MST kickoff to 12:30 p.m. kickoff in an attempt to beat the lightning and thunderstorms, but the game in Stillwater, Oklahoma has been suspended because of those issues.
They have emptied Boone Pickens Stadium of fans in the seating area as a precaution, with the scoreboard reading: “Thunderstorms with lightning are in the area and we are suspending play until further notice. If you are located in open air seating, proceed calmly to the area located under the stadium seating at this time.”
The NCAA’s lightning safety rules say: “To resume athletics activities, lightning safety experts recommend waiting 30 minutes after both the last sound of thunder and after the last flash of lightning is at least six miles away, and moving away from the venue. If lightning is seen without hearing thunder, lightning may be out of range and therefore less likely to be a significant threat. At night, be aware that lightning can be visible at a much greater distance than during the day as clouds are being lit from the inside by lightning. This greater distance may mean that the lightning is no longer a significant threat. At night, use both the sound of thunder and seeing the lightning channel itself to decide on when to reset the 30-minute return-to-play clock before resuming outdoor athletics activities.”
According to one interpretation of Big 12 rules, in the event of inclement weather continuing, the game could be called because Arizona State and Oklahoma State have played two quarters. If the game was called, ASU would win the game, 21-14, making that late touchdown in the first half very important for the Sun Devils.
But not everyone agrees. The wording says that “if more than one-half” of the game has been completed. ASU and Oklahoma State have played one half, not more than one half of their game.
It’s likely however, that the conference will do all it can to get the rest of this game in, if it can safely do so.

The reason, according to the referee? For spitting on a player.
Yes, spitting.
Wodtly was furious about the call, arguing his case to coach Kenny Dillingham. The FOX broadcast did not have video of the play.
The kicking woes continue for the Sun Devils. Parker Lewis just missed a 47-yard field goal attempt that was wide right, leaving ASU without any points on its second possession of the game.
It was the first field goal attempt for Lewis since Dec. 4, 2021, when he played at USC.
