The 2024-2025 FIS Alpine Ski World Cup is in full swing. After the slalom opening game in Levi, it is time to shift to the next destination in Austria, Gurgl. On November 24, the region will celebrate yet another high-octane ski race. However, the race to earn the Crystal Globes is wide open now. Do you want to know how? Well, the overall rankings in both men’s and women’s events do not promote a clear winner yet. Mikaela Shiffrin holds the top spot in the women’s standings, but the difference between her and the rest is minimal. The same applies to the men’s category as well. 
Therefore, folks, you can expect a tight contest in the upcoming days to reach the top of the list. Wouldn’t that be something to cherish for? It would certainly. But there’s another announcement to tease the fanfare over the ski racing sport. And this time, it has come from an automobile manufacturer, Porsche, the German conglomerate, that specializes in building luxurious, innovative sports cars. Isn’t that amazing? Nonetheless, the giant had to walk a thousand miles to bring something new.

On November 18, the ski racing equipment manufacturer, HEAD Ski, shared an update about releasing a free ride ski. But here comes the twist. The $2,425 product brought two beautiful minds to the same place to shape it. The first one is Michael Mauer, vice president (Style Porsche AG), and Aksel Lund Svindal, the former World Cup downhill champion.
