The festive fixtures in the English Premier League resume on Boxing Day with a pair of key U.S. men’s national team players squaring off.
Tyler Adams and Bournemouth take on Chris Richards and Crystal Palace at the Vitality Stadium. Adams is coming off a memorable performance last Sunday where Andoni Iraola’s men earned a 3-0 road victory over Manchester United. The USMNT midfielder has helped the Cherries to a current fifth place spot in the league table, rotating in and out of the starting lineup.
Richards returned to the Crystal Palace starting lineup on Saturday, but the Eagles suffered a 5-1 hammering at the hands of London rivals Arsenal. It marked the veteran defender’s first start in over three months across all competitions. Crystal Palace will desperately seek three points as Oliver Glasner’s men sit only four points clear of the relegation zone.
Elsewhere in England, Antonee Robinson and Fulham take on London rivals Chelsea. Brenden Aaronson and Leeds United visit Stoke City.
In Belgium, Bryan Reynolds, Griffin Yow and Westerlo face a trip to Club Brugge.
In Scotland, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Auston Trusty will hope to return from illnesses.
