SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio’s Alamodome will host the Clasico Regio match between Mexican professional football clubs Tigres UANL and C.F Monterrey Rayados.
The two Monterrey-based teams faced off in last year’s Clasico Regio at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston. This fall, they will return to compete in the most intense regional rivalry in Mexico.
The match is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 12, just in time to close out Hispanic Heritage Month.
A time has not been set yet but tickets will be available for purchase through Ticketmaster or the Alamodome box office soon.
