ADM Boys Soccer Sweep Weekend Tournament; Stay Undefeated – Raccoon Valley Radio

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Soccer team went 3-0 over the weekend in their tournament.
The Tigers hosted the ADM Soccer Tournament, beginning on Friday as they invited five teams into Adel. ADM battled against Van Meter Friday night, where the defeated the Bulldogs 2-0 for the first shutout of the season. ADM’s Senior Peyton Meier broke a scoreless game 13 minutes in to put the Tigers up 1-0, which was the score at the half. In the 55th minute, Senior Rhylan Stine-Smith had a corner kick, which was headed by Senior Carson Kay, resulting in the second goal for ADM.
On Saturday, the Tigers picked up wins against Waverly-Shell Rock and Des Moines East to go a perfect 3-0 in the tournament, improving to 5-0 overall. The Tigers will be playing at Tiger Stadium tonight in Adel as they welcome in the Gilbert Tigers for a 7pm start.
