USC quarterback Caleb Williams headlines the top 10 picks in the 2024 NFL draft.
The top 10 saw five quarterbacks selected, including the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, Jayden Daniels, who was selected second. For the first time in NFL draft there was not one defensive player selected in the top 10.

The Minnesota Vikings trade up to No. 10 to select Michigan’s JJ McCarthy.
McCarthy won the national championship at Michigan, guiding the Wolverines to a 28-1 record over two seasons. McCarthy is the first Michigan quarterback to be selected in the first round since his former head coach, Jim Harbaugh, was taken in the 1987 draft.

The Huskies’ dynamic duo go eighth and ninth in the NFL draft as Rome Odunze is picked by the Chicago Bears.
Odunze will join No. 1 pick Caleb Williams as the new offensive foundation for Chicago. He led the nation in receiving yards with 1,640 in his fourth season at Washington.

Washington’s superstar QB is the fourth quarterback off the board as the Atlanta Falcons select him with the eighth pick in the NFL draft.
Penix transferred to Washington after four years at Indiana. In his two seasons in Seattle he threw for more than 9,500 yards and 67 touchdowns.

The Tennessee Titans turn to Alabama’s JC Latham for the seventh pick in the NFL draft.
The offensive tackle was dominant in his career in college, and will be an instant impact player for Tennessee.

Malik Nabers picked up 14 touchdowns and more than 1,500 yards in his junior season at LSU. He was the primary target for No. 2 pick and Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels.
Nabers is LSU’s all-time leader in receiving yards with 3,003 in his career.

Joe Alt, a unanimous first-team All-American offensive tackle, is the fifth-overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.
Alt is the first NFL draft selection for the Los Angeles under Jim Harbaugh, who won the national championship at Michigan.

Marvin Harrison Jr., college football’s best wide receiver during the 2023 season, is the first non-QB selected in the 2024 NFL draft.
The son of legendary Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison scored 28 touchdowns in the final two seasons of an illustrious career at Ohio State.

The Washington Commanders select North Carolina’s superstar QB Drake Maye with the third pick in the NFL draft.
Maye was the Tar Heels starter for the final two seasons of his career after backing up Sam Howell, who was drafted by Washington in 2022, in his freshman season. He is the second quarterback from UNC to be drafted in the top-3, Mitch Trubisky was selected with the second pick in 2017.

The last two Heisman Trophy winners go one and two in the 2024 NFL draft as the Washington Commanders went with LSU QB Jayden Daniels with the second overall pick.
Daniels was outstanding in his two seasons at LSU after transferring in from Arizona State. He is a mobile quarterback, rushing for over 3,300 yards in college, including better than 1,100 yards and 10 touchdowns in his final year at LSU.

The 2022 Heisman Trophy winner is the first player off the board in the 2024 NFL draft, after the Chicago Bears select the 22-year-old from USC to be its new franchise quarterback.
Williams becomes the sixth Trojan to be selected No.1 overall, making USC the first school to have six players be selected with the first pick.
