Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto: "We're very happy that we're able to qualify. I hope that we'll be able to continue our bowling performances, not our batting performances, in the next round. We hope our batting will be fine in the next round.
"We are not scoring much but we believe we can defend any total with the way we've bowled in this tournament. We know if we take early wickets and field well we can defend totals.
"We have everything in our attack. In the past few years our pace bowlers have worked very hard. Our bowling unit is very important.
"Momentum is always important in T20 but we have to plan and execute our plans."
Nepal captain Rohit Paudel: "As a bowling unit we bowled really well. We could have done better as a batting unit, particularly the top order. We could have batted a little bit tighter. Their new-ball bowlers bowled really well and we were under pressure.
"They were asking questions of us. They bowled really well in the powerplay.
"As a batting unit we need to step up, know where to score runs and how to assess a wicket. We are up to the mark with the bowling.
"This team has great potential. We need to back each and every player.
"We have disappointed our fans. I've seen some of them crying so it was heartbreaking for us. We hope to make them happy in the years to come."
Player of the match, Bangladesh seamer Tanzim Hasan: "We knew we were still in the game, we didn't panic and knew we could win if we kept to basics and bowled in the right areas.
"We are a beautiful bowling attack when we get things right. Everyone contributed today, they all bowled so well and performed our roles.
"I was focusing on accuracy. I know that if I stick to my plans, I can control that and be successful.
"We are so happy to be through and winning from this position gives us a lot of confidence.
"The spin bowling was very challenging to play on that pitch when we batted so we knew at halfway, that if we bowled our best we could defend that total."

Bangladesh were in a really difficult group but they have emerged from it. There are tougher challenges to come but they have survived a scare today.
The batting needs improvement but the bowling attack has been brilliant today.
But full credit to Nepal too, because they've been a joy to watch in this tournament.
Job done for Bangladesh. They are through to the Super 8s and will be in Group One with India, Australia and Afghanistan. A very tough group.
It is the lowest total ever defended in a Men's T20 World Cup game.
It is also the first time Bangladesh have won three games at a T20 World Cup.
They were ropey with the bat but superb with the ball. Their pace attack could cause some issues in this tournament.
Bohara lbw b Shakib 0 (Nep 85 all out)
Hitting leg stump.
Is this the game?
Abinash Bohara has been trapped lbw according to umpire Ahsan Raza but he wants to take another look.
Sompal st Das b Shakib 0 (Nep 85-9)
Bangladesh are almost there.
With Nepal needing boundaries Sompal Kami charges down the pitch and tries a big old heave.
He misses and Litton Das gathers the ball and whips off the bails.
Nepal need 22 from the final over.
It's going to be bowled by Shakib Al Hasan.
Airee c Das b Mustafizur 25 (Nep 85-8)
A wicket maiden in the 19th over of a T20. Take a bow Mustafizur Rahman. Unreal stuff.
After playing out five dot balls – there was lots of swinging to be fair – Dipendra Singh Airee tries to keep the strike.
There's a little movement down the pitch as he tries to nudge down to third but he can only find Litton Das.
Mustafizur finishes with 3-7 from four overs.
Need 22 from nine balls
Mustafizur Rahman is winning Bangladesh this game.
Three balls. Three dots.
The pressure is ramping up on Nepal.
Need 22 from 12 balls
Brilliant fielding. New batter Sompal Kami connects well with a cut shot but Rishad Hossain makes a superb diving stop at backward point. He's been very good in that position.
A reminder that if the scores finish level we'll go to a super over.
Gulshan c Hridoy b Taskin 0 (Nep 85-7)
This is a really good comeback from Taskin Ahmed.
He goes short and Gulshan Jha tries the big shot but a top-edge just tamely loops up into the covers for a simple catch.
A four-ball duck and now the pressure is back on Nepal.
Need 22 from 14 balls
Good comeback from Taskin Ahmed.
He concedes just a single from the next three balls.
Can he now see out the over?
Need 23 from 17 balls
My days!
Whenever you think Bangladesh are taking control, Nepal find a way to get back into the game.
It's a little short from Taskin Ahmed and Dipendra Singh Airee upper-cuts over point for six!
Superb shot.
Are Nepal now favourites?
Need 29 from 18 balls
That wicket has pushed WinViz back into Bangladesh's favour.
A brilliant over from Mustafizur Rahman. He found the breakthrough and concedes just one run.
Malla c Shanto b Mustafizur 27 (Nep 78-6)
And now he's found the breakthrough.
Kushal Malla looks to go over the top with a drive, but miscues up into the air.
Bangladesh captain Najmul Hossain Shanto has to make up some ground but settles under it and just about holds on he stumbles to the ground.
A 52-run stand comes to an end, but it has given Nepal a sniff.
