Football Oilers end losing streak, complete season sweep over Sioux Falls – Tulsa World

Alexis Rosario, Joshua Crockett and Jonathan Nance caught two touchdowns each to help the Tulsa Oilers end a six-game losing streak, 55-41, over the Sioux Falls Storm on Saturday night at BOK Center.
It was a near replay of Tulsa’s 56-40 win on April 14 at Sioux Falls. Rosario has six TD catches this season against the Storm.
Tulsa (4-8) went on a decisive 24-0 run in the second quarter after falling behind 21-14. 
In the second quarter, Rosario caught a tying 13-yard TD pass. Michael Hall snapped the tie with a 24-yard field goal and Jarrod Ware Jr. caught an 11-yard TD pass with 54 seconds left in the half after a Tre Smalls fumble recovery to give Tulsa a 31-21 lead going into intermission. Tulsa made it 38-21 early in the third on Nance’s 12-yard TD reception.

KeShawn Williams’ third TD of the game for Sioux Falls (3-8) cut the Oilers’ lead to 45-35 late in the third. Crockett, however, caught a 7-yard TD pass in the fourth quarter to boost Tulsa’s lead to 52-35.
The Oilers visit Iowa next Saturday night.
