CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) – Voting resumed in the Missouri Helmet Challenge Thursday, June 12, as fans vote for their favorite high school football helmet in the state.
Of the 72 teams that entered this year’s bracket, 6 hail from the Heartland (Chaffee, Jackson, Malden, Fredericktown, Hayti and Caruthersville). The randomized bracket puts teams of all different classes and districts together with fan voting deciding which school would advance.
Now, with 64 teams remaining, voting has reopened for half of the bracket. Here’s the current matchups:

All voting is done via the poll on X. Each matchup is open for 48 hours. The winners advance to the 3rd round of the competition.
Malden, Caruthersville and Fredericktown will have their matchup polls open up Friday.
