WASHINGTON STATE RETURNS just nine of 22 starters between the offense and defense, and that means a good-sized number of Cougars in 2024 will step into bigger and more impactful roles. So which Cougs are the top candidates to break out this coming season?
The problem is it guarantees some worthy candidates get left off a list like this one.
We also aren’t including any of the 20 players set to enroll in the June because we haven’t yet been able to see them on the WSU practice field. Plus, a lot can change between now and September.
Preamble aside and strictly limiting ourselves to five here in June, and perhaps akin to what the likes of linebacker Taariq Al-Uqdah and defensive tackle David Gusta did this past season, here’s who CF.C pegs as potential break out Cougars for ’24.
