HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) – The Heartland Lutheran football team were the lone 6-man program to attend UNK’s 8-man team camp.
The Red Hornets have struggled in recent seasons and is looking to improve.
“Coming here is big for us, we needed to work on our offensive line, our run blocking, our linebackers need some work, a lot of it is just the skills, whether you’re 6-man or 8-man, you’re working with some great coaches, these are extra practices for us that a lot of teams aren’t getting, and that’s a big deal,” said Brent Benny, Heartland Lutheran football head coach.
Heartland Lutheran have yet to release their 2024 schedule.
