What you need to know for the Mexico-Brazil soccer match – KBTX

TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY, Texas (KBTX) – The Mexico versus Brazil soccer match takes place Saturday, with some changes implemented that will make the event look a little different from Aggie Gamedays.
Below is your gameday guide for the soccer match, answering frequently asked questions.
On-campus parking is available with a reservation, which can cost anywhere from $25 to $45. Paid street parking is also available throughout the City of College Station for $25 per car. Those spaces are available in the Historic Southside Neighborhood, City Hall, Post Oak Mall, Wayne Smith baseball field parking lot and the Lincoln Center surface lot.
Free parking can be found at the Century Square parking garage, where a shuttle to and from Kyle Field will be available for visitors to access. Although Downtown Bryan will experience street closures along parts of Main Street and 24th Street for Festa Italiana, free street parking is still available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional parking can be found at the Roy Kelly Parking Garage for a small fee. The gameday shuttle from Downtown Bryan will run as normal.
Texas A&M University officials said there will not be tailgating spots available for people to reserve at Aggie Park. Instead, Aggie Park will host the Futbol Fiesta from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m., which will feature food trucks, games and entertainment for all ages.
Although the list of prohibited items doesn’t allow inflated soccer balls, fans are allowed to bring in deflated soccer balls for autographs. A full list of prohibited items can be found here.
Fans will be asked to go through metal detectors, similar to football games. The clear bag policy will remain in effect, but fans will not be able to bring in a sealed water bottle. Clear plastic cups will be distributed that can be refilled at water fountains inside the stadium.
