2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers: Bafana vs. Nigeria – YoMzansi


Bafana-Bafana is set to play Nigeria’s Super Eagles on Friday, 7 June 2024 as both sides look to secure three points to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The last match between Nigeria and South Africa ended with Nigeria defeating South Africa via a penalty shootout to advance to the 2023 AFCON final.
Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has already announced the final 23-member squad for the upcoming crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Nigeria and Zimbabwe.

Bafana Bafana will face the Super Eagles away in (Godswill Akpabio International Stadium) Uyo, Nigeria, on Friday, 7 June 2024, and then host Zimbabwe at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein on Tuesday, 11 June 2024.
Bafana Bafana is currently second in the Group C table, followed by the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the third sport—sitting apart by just one point.
The match will kick-off at 9pm
