Việt Nam to find medals at Sepaktakraw World Cup – Viet Nam News

HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese players have been in Malaysia and ready to compete at the International Sepaktakraw (rattan ball kicking) Federation World Cup from May 18 to 26 at the Titiwangsa Stadium, Kuala Lumpur.
Twenty-one countries will participate in the tournament. Việt Nam are among 12 teams of the Premier Division of stronger level. Nine are other are in the Division One.
Việt Nam are in Group B with China and India in the double event while they play powerhouse Thailand and Indonesia in the regu (three players in each team) category
Last edition, Thailand won four golds in both two classes for men and women. Việt Nam took two silvers in the women’s competitions.
This year, women’s tournament is not organised. VNS
