A former Clemson football player took to social media Friday, calling out some Tiger fans.
Jock McKissic made it clear he’s sick of hearing fans voice their displeasure with Dabo Swinney and the Tigers’ use of the NCAA transfer portal, or lack thereof.
“I’m so tired of fans complaining everyday about Clemson not using the portal. We get it, Coach doesn’t like it, and y’all want to utilize it. How about y’all jump in the Fan Transfer Portal or, let them folks do their jobs 😂🤣😂😂,” McKissic wrote Friday morning in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
A former Clemson defensive tackle, McKissic played for the Tigers from 2005-’08 and lettered for all four years.
McKissic had success as a starter and was voted a team captain in 2008. He is best remembered for his 82-yard interception return for a touchdown against rival South Carolina in the 2006 game in Death Valley.
After Clemson, the Opelika, Ala., native played in the Arena Football League for a couple of years before starting his acting career.
