U18 Young Bulls win prestigious FIFA Youth Cup – FC Red Bull Salzburg – FC Red Bull Salzburg

For over 80 years, some of the planets' top talents have descended on Zürich at this time of year to take part in the Blue Stars/FIFA Youth Cup™. The latest edition of the top U19 tournament saw the Young Bulls of the Red Bull Football Academy prevail and take the trophy!
In the final against the local hopes FC Zürich, Yuki Miyazawa's side did not allow an equaliser to knock them out of their stride and went on to secure a superb 4-1 win.
As the cherry on top of the cake, there was an individual honour granted to our co-operation partner. Austrian youth international Kenneth Adejenughure was voted Player of the Tournament.
In the ÖFB Youth League, the Young Bulls are well on course to retaining their title, with a sensational 19 wins from 20 matches for the unbeaten U18 academy team! The boys can secure the title as early as Tuesday, away in Ried.
The Porsche Jugendförderung youth development initiative has also given two awards to youngsters from our Red Bull Football Academy. Armin Valjevac received the Porsche Turbo Award for his comeback, while our U15 side were acknowledged for their superb social engagement.
