Junior Starlets depart for Ethiopia for FIFA U17 World Cup qualifier – Kenya Broadcasting Corporation

The Kenya U17 National Team,Junior Starlets,has left the country this evening for Addis Ababa Ethiopia, ahead of Friday’s FIFA U17 World Cup qualifier 1st leg against the host.
Starlets coach Mildred Cheche named 23 players as the traveling squad for the assignment.
The second leg of the third round of FIFA U17 World Cup qualifiers will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024, at the Ulinzi Sports Complex.
Following the two legs, the tie’s aggregate winner advances to the fourth and final round, where they will face either Djibouti or Burundi.
The winner of this match will automatically qualify for the 2024 FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup, which will be hosted in the Dominican Republic in October.
