Kennedi Koekkoek tallied two goals and four other players got into the scoring act as Division 4 top-ranked North Muskegon defeated visiting Ravenna, 6-0, in West Michigan Conference girls soccer action Thursday at Fred Jacks Memorial Field.
The Norse improve to 9-1-0 overall on the season and stay perfect in conference play at 7-0-0.
Delaney Young, Emma Buchmiller, Alex Johnson, and Katie Kinahan also scored goals for North Muskegon in the win over Ravenna, which is now 3-6-2 overall and 1-4-1 in the WMC.
Emmy Creed and Allie Jensen notched two assists apiece for the Norse, who host fourth-ranked Royal Oak Shrine in a much-anticipated matchup at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fred Jacks Memorial Field.
In the 2021 season, North Muskegon defeated Royal Oak Shrine, 5-0, in the Division 4 state finals.
