The 2024 Lady Vikings lost to Jefferson in the third round of the playoffs, but with almost the entire team returning, 2025 could be a special year.
Brock Beldon scored the only goal in the East Coweta Indian’s overtime loss to Grayson in the second round of the state playoffs.

The incredible run by the Northgate Lady Vikings soccer team ended Monday when they fell to the undefeated Jefferson Lady Dragons 2-0. Ultimately, the Lady Vikings finished Head Coach Meosha Miller’s first season 16-3-2.
The win total included a region title, a Coweta Cup title, two playoff wins, and more unique goal celebrations than can be counted.
Coach Miller’s year two is on track to be just as impressive. Her current team only loses one player, goalkeeper Layla Dorman, and brings back all the firepower needed to make another deep run in 2025.
In other soccer postseason action, the East Coweta boys won their first-round playoff match against Harrison, 2-1, with goals from Diego Vincente and Brock Beldon, before losing to Grayson in the second round in double overtime, 2-1.
The Trinity Christian girls also won their first-round playoff match with a 10-0 win over Shaw. Ava Anthony had a hat trick, Kennedi Pitts and Peton Daniels added two, and Silvana Davila, Ashlyn Ing, and Emerson Reifschneider found the net once.
In the second round, the Lady Lions lost to Perry 1-0 to conclude their season.
Finally, the Northgate boys lost their first-round match against Tucker, 2-1, in overtime. Stephen Hurlock scored the Viking goal.
