Excitement is building as Seattle prepares to host matches for the FIFA World Cup 2026, starting in June next year. Seattle is one of 16 cities selected to host the prestigious event.
In addition to Seattle, Vancouver and eight other cities across Washington will host fan zones.
Each city will provide big screens and various activities in their fan zones, catering to highlight their unique strengths.
The first match in Seattle is scheduled for June 15, 2026.
With the cities just announced today, organizers have less than a year and a half to prepare for the event.
