TRANSFER TRACKER STATUS: Purchase option
FC Dallas have exercised their purchase option on midfielder Patrickson Delgado, the club announced Friday.
Delgado, 21, has signed a contract through the 2027 MLS season, with a club option for 2028.
Delgado was originally loaned to FC Dallas from Independiente del Valle in his native Ecuador, posting 4g/3a in 23 MLS appearances last season.
Internationally, the midfielder has represented Ecuador’s U-20 side nine times and also featured at the 2019 U-17 FIFA World Cup. He has made the bench twice for the Ecuadorian senior national team, but has yet to debut.
Dallas will open their 2025 campaign on Feb. 22 at Texas rivals Houston Dynamo FC (8:30 pm ET | MLS Season Pass).
