The Oregon Duck football program will close out their spring football session with its 14th and final spring practice that will serve as the team’s annaul spring football game. DuckTerritory.com’s coverage will bring you updates live from the pressbox inside Autzen Stadium for pregame, in-game, and postgame coverage.
Oregon will hold a true football game that features four 15-minute quarters with running clock except for scores, penalties, change of possession, and the last 2 minutes of each half.
Oregon head coach Dan Lanning was asked about what he hoped to see play out on Saturday.
“Creating that game day environment like we talked about, we’re not gonna go out there and show off everything we’ve done this spring from a scheme standpoint. We’re gonna let our guys go out there and play fast so you execute and so you can play football.”
Lanning later added he hopes the day is used properly so that players show the growth that’s expected of them.
“We want to get at better football. We will practice what football looks like, do a good job of seeing who can play and it’s different when you play in a game day environment. So we want to create that.”
Saturday will mark the first time Oregon fans and media will see the team in action this spring and notably the addition of multiple transfer portal and high school commitments who have joined the team ahead of Saturday’s spring game.
Today’s game will kickoff at 1 PM PT and the game will be broadcast by the Pac-12 Networks.
