“Today marks an exciting reunion for UCF Football as we welcome back Scott Frost, a coach who ignites the spirit and passion of Knight Nation,” said Director of Athletics Terry Mohajir.
Following the 2017 season, Frost left UCF to take over the head coaching job at his alma mater, Nebraska. Frost was fired after a 1-2 start in the 2022 season. Frost was just 16-31 during his time leading the Cornhuskers.
