Manchester City will be participating in the first-ever edition of the FIFA Club World Cup which is set to begin in summer 2025.
The FIFA World Cup will see its first tournament in the summer of 2025, consisting of 32 clubs from around the world.
Manchester City are one of the 32 clubs taking part, securing a place due to their UEFA Champions League victory in 2023.
This new summer tournament consists of a group stage, the last round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and lastly, the grand final.
The competition will kick off on June 15th all the way to July 15th, in the United States of America.
This competition format will be almost exactly the same as the Fifa World Cup, the only difference being there will be no third-placed playoff before the final.
Manchester City have been drawn into group G along with Italian giants Juventus, The 2021 CAF champions Wydad and UAE's Al Ahin.
The Cityzens have already won everything possible to them: Various Premier League titles, FA Cup, the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Super League. Will they be able to add another trophy to their cabinet and become the first-ever champions of Word Cup Club football?
