Cristiano Ronaldo still banged in the goals for Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr at the age of 39 throughout the 2023/24 campaign but it ended on a sour note as his team lost the Kings Cup final to Al Hilal.
Ronaldo made the move to the Middle East a month after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar as he closed the chapter on his extraordinary European career.
Al Nassr boast an impressive collection of 28 official trophies and domestically, the club has clinched nine Pro League titles, six King Cups, three Crown Prince’s Cups, three Federation Cups, and two Super Cups.
Ronaldo’s side lost out on a league title to Al Ittihad last season and Al Hilal were crowned champions in 2023/24. Al Nassr were also dumped out of the AFC Champions League last season on penalties by Al Ain and lost on penalties to Al Hilal on May 31.
Ronaldo began his latest quest to win trophies in Riyadh in August 2024, starting the 2024/25 season with the Saudi Super Cup.
The Sporting News takes a look at when Ronaldo will next be in action in Saudi Arabia.

Cristiano Ronaldo missed Al Nassr’s 2-1 AFC Champions League defeat to Al Sadd on December 3. With his side already through to the next round, the forward was given a rest.
He will likely be back for the game against Al Ittihad on Friday, December 6 — Al Nassr’s last of the year.

Al Nassr will once more compete across five competitions in the 2024/25 season including the Saudi Pro League, King’s Cup, AFC Champions League, Arab Club Champions Cup, and Saudi Super Cup.
They began their season in the domestic Super Cup on August 14, with their first Pro League match eight days later.
