Cali have qualified but not without a scare, as UES found themselves winning 2-1 in the first period and also equalizing 3-3 in the second period. Adler scored a hat-trick for the Californians, who managed to hold the 5-4 result throughout the whole third period to secure their place in the semi-finals.
They will face group A winners Las Costeñas who were losing 3-0 against Santa Cruz at the end of the first period, but with four goals in the last 13 minutes of the game, completed a perfect group stage with four wins in four matches.
A hat-trick from Martinez helped Costa del Sol beat Botafogo (USA) 4-2, a result however that is not enough to finish the group ahead of them, meaning Botafogo will face Santa Cruz for the 7th place match, while UES take on San Marcelino for the 5th place.
