MANKATO — The St. Cloud State women’s soccer team fell 2-1 to Minnesota State-Mankato in a first-round NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament game on Friday, Nov. 23 in Mankato.
The Huskies finished their season 11-4-5.

Sophomore Grace Olson scored the lone goal for SCSU in the 14th minute to give her team the early 1-0 edge. The Mavericks scored twice in the second half with goals in the 53rd and 59th minutes.
St. Cloud State is now 8-27-4 all-time against Mankato and 0-2-0 in NCAA Tournament play. Olson’s goal was the first time a St. Cloud State player has ever scored in an NCAA Tournament game.
