The surging Chargers welcome the Bengals to Los Angeles for a Sunday Night Football clash rife with playoff implications this week.
Los Angeles (6-3) has won three consecutive games, rolling behind a stingy defense. The unit ranks No. 1 in the NFL allowing just 13.6 points per game; in fact, no team has scored more than 20 points against the Chargers in a game yet this season. Since 1990, only three other teams have achieved such a feat through their first nine games.
Cincinnati (4-6) is still working to overcome its 0-3 start and will try to bounce back from a gut-wrenching, one-point loss to the Ravens last Thursday. Much rests on the shoulders of Joe Burrow, who is playing arguably the best football of his career: He has nine touchdowns across his last two games, including a season-high 428 yards against Baltimore.
