EAST LANSING – During more than a decade spent as the head football coach and athletic director at Flint Beecher High School, Courtney Hawkins had numerous offers to jump to the college level.
They just weren’t the right fit at that time in his life. Then an opportunity arose at Michigan State and Hawkins took it.
