Check out the live streaming details for India and Afghanistan FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifier match to be played at Damac Club Stadium.
The Indian men’s football team will resume chasing their FIFA World Cup dream this week, featuring in the second round of the Asian qualifiers. In their upcoming game, the Blue Tigers will square off against Afghanistan in an away fixture. The highly anticipated match will be hosted at the Damac Club Stadium in Abha, Saudi Arabia on Thursday night.
India currently hold the third position in Group A. They kicked off the campaign in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers with a 1-0 win over Kuwait. India, however, failed to replicate the success in the following games. They lost the first game of the second round to Kuwait before Qatar beat them 3-0 on home soil. The Sunil Chhetri-led side will be desperate to bounce back against Afghanistan and wrap up the Saudi Arabia trip on a positive note.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan are yet to secure their first win in the second round of the qualifying campaign. They suffered a humiliating 8-1 defeat at the hands of Qatar and conceded four goals against Kuwait without any reply. Afghanistan are now reeling at the bottom of Group A. They will face India in the return leg on 26 March at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati.
