Kansas State football is in for a new experience Saturday with its visit to Houston and the Cougars’ 40,000-seat TDECU Stadium.
It will be the No. 15-ranked Wildcats’ first afternoon game of 2024 after six evening and two morning kickoffs. It also will mark their fifth road game of the season and third in the last four.
K-State (7-1, 4-1 Big 12) is off to its best start in 10 years, including six under coach Chris Klieman, and has won four straight after edging Kansas at home last week, 29-27. Houston (3-5, 2-3) beat Utah last week, 17-14, for its second victory in the last two games, and will try to even the series against the Wildcats after dropping the first-ever matchup last year in Manhattan, 41-0.
