KATHMANDU, Nov 4: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has changed the starting line-up of the Nepali national cricket team ahead of their ICC Cricket World Cup League-2 match against Scotland.
CAN announced that pacer Karan KC and batsman Bhim Sharki have been left out of the team due to injuries, while Dev Khanal and Sagar Dhakal have been included in the team in their place. KC has not featured in any match after getting injured while bowling against the US in their previous match.
CAN  issued a statement on Monday stating that KC and Sharki have been dropped from the team due to injuries. Reserve players Khanal and Dhakal will now be included in the 15-member squad.
Nepal is playing its fourth and final match of the tri-nation series against Scotland today, November 4. The match is scheduled to begin at 10:15 PM (Nepali time) at Grand Prairie Stadium in Dallas.
Nepal has lost two of the three matches played in the ongoing series and has won only one match. Nepal defeated Scotland by five wickets in the first match but lost the subsequent matches to hosts USA by three wickets followed by a 37-run defeat.
