Keep looking his way. Bellingham wide receiver Mason Jacques was voted the Week 7 Daily News High School Football Player of the Week. He caught four passes for 154 yards and three touchdowns in the Blackhawks’ 48-6 win over Dover-Sherborn. His first score covered 99 yards in the first quarter.
Jacques received 41.35 percent of the more than 9,000 votes. Ashland’s Hugo Rossi placed second with 23.03 percent. He’s the second Bellingham winner after his teammate Gabriel Egan earned the honor in the season’s opening week
Now we turn our attention to the best performances of Week 8:
He threw for 240 yards and three touchdowns, as the Hawks hammered Groton-Dunstable 49-6 to finish the regular season undefeated. Attawy also ran for a 33-yard touchdown.
He threw for 133 yards and two touchdowns, as the Blackhawks beat Medfield 35-6 to claim a share of the Tri-Valley League Small division title.
He threw for 213 yards and two touchdowns for the Panthers, who beat Milford 28-26 in overtime.
He returned the opening kickoff 74 yards for a touchdown in the Rangers’ 21-6 victory over Marlborough and grabbed an interception.

He intercepted three passes and helped the Panthers secure a 13-7 win over Norwood. It clinched a share of the Tri-Valley League large title for Holliston.

They each ran for two touchdowns, as the Redhawks took down Milton 31-21.
The sophomore quarterback threw for four touchdowns and ran for a fifth score in a 35-13 win over Weymouth.
He ran for 146 yards and a touchdown in the Scarlet Hawks’ 28-26 overtime loss against Franklin. Rivera also caught four passes for 43 yards, including an acrobatic 25-yard sideline touchdown in overtime.
He ran for 138 yards and three touchdowns on just four carries, as Wayland worked over Newton South 67-20.
He had 150 yards receiving and a 90-yard touchdown, as the Hawks beat Groton-Dunstable 49-6.
