CLEMSON, S.C. — Louisville football has yet to beat Clemson in eight tries.
Armed with a newfound confidence, the Cardinals will hope the ninth time’s the charm. The eighth-ranked Tigers are coming off a bye and haven’t lost since their season opener against Georgia. The Cardinals only need one more win to reach bowl eligibility with ESPN giving the squad a 99% chance of winning six games. Their projected record is 7.6-4.4.
Phil Mafah adds his second TD of the night, converting on fourth-and-goal from the 1.
Isaac Brown scores on a 45-yard run for the one-play drive. The Cardinals recovered the onside kick, which went to a review and stood, just before that.

Clemson 42, Louisville 28. Louisville has the talent to challenge Clemson but the Tigers, who seem to have returned to dominance, will be too much to handle at home.
