JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Georgia football offensive guard Micah Morris went down with an injury with 13:20 to go in the first quarter against Florida.
The redshirt junior was holding his right leg.
He did not return during the Bulldogs’ first offensive possession.
Morris walked off the field and trainers attended to him and the injury tent went up around him on the training table.
He tried to block another player on the sideline after getting out but appeared still to be in pain and went back in the injury tent.
Morris returned in the second quarter.
Senior Tate Ratledge stepped in for Morris when he left injured. Ratledge returned for the first time since week three against Kentucky. The senior had been sidelined after surgery for a high ankle sprain and is a third-year starter.
Morris has started four games in his career, all during the last four-game stretch.
The 6-foot-4, 330-pounder is a redshirt junior from Kingsland.
