The former World Cup sprinter, with victories in places like Dresden and Falun, has now welcomed her second child. Hanna Falk was known on the track for her impressive qualifying speed, often topping the leaderboard after the qualification round.
“Early Saturday morning, little sister arrived,” writes the former World Cup sprinter on Instagram. Hanna Falk already has a son with her husband, Hannes Olaison.
Hanna Falk ended her career in 2022 after pursuing long-distance skiing with Lager 157 Ski Team.
Hanna Falk invested in long-distance skiing and Ski Classics after a long and successful career as a sprinter. However, a rib injury before the winter season in 2021/2022 disrupted the long-distance season, and in February 2022, Falk announced that her elite career was over.
“I completely lack the motivation to invest further and do what is required of me and my body,” the 32-year-old wrote on Instagram at that time.

Hanna Falk emerged early as a sprinter. The first World Cup victory came in Düsseldorf on December 5, 2009. The second victory came the same winter, January 17, in Otepää. It took eight years for the subsequent success; on January 13, 2018, Falk won the sprint in Dresden, and on March 16, the same winter, she took the fourth and final victory in the sprint in Falun.
After several years with back problems and a back operation, Falk returned strong and finished fourth in the World Cup sprint at home in Ulricehamn.
Before the 2021/2022 winter, she invested in long-distance skiing and showed excellent form at roller ski competitions, including a victory at the Klarälvsloppet.

A fall on roller skis resulted in a rib injury, disrupting her first season as a long-distance cross-country skier on the Lager 157 Ski Team.
