Typically you see a lot of improvement on the injury report during a team’s bye week. That however hasn’t been the case for Georgia football this week.
A lot of players have made some progress, but other names have unfortunately been added as new additions. Here’s a quick glance at the current injury report for Georgia.

Gerogia appears to be on ther verge to get two key players back very soon, likely for their game next week against Florida.
The first is starting offensive lineman Tate Ratledge, who has not played after an ankle injury suffered during the Kentucky game. Ratledge, as well as Jordan Hall for that matter, were both dressed and warmed up before the Texas game last week, but they were held out just to be safe. But it appears they both might be ready for Florida next week.
However, Kirby Smart spoke about Hall’s injury status earlier this week, and it does sound like there’s a chance he might not be able to go against Florida.
"And you never know, it might just hit him on a rep, and that's kept him from taking the rep load that he would like to take," Smart said via 247sports.com. "But he's out there today doing more this week than he did last week."
The fact that Hall’s injury could flare up during any one rep is concerning. Smart still mentions that he has been improving, so let’s hope it stays that way heading into next week’s big game.
Another key player Georgia is hoping to get back soon is linebacker Smael Mondon. Mondon is listed as doubtful, but he is still making noticeable progress.
"We're hoping to get Smael back. Can't wait to get him back," Smart shared. "Hopefully it'll be soon. He's out there with us right now, and I don't know when it'll be."
It’s a good sign that Mondon is out their working with the team, but the last part about Smaet’s quote is troubling. Maybe that’s just Smart not wanting to share too many specifics, but it sounds like it could be a couple more weeks before Mondon is back.
Georgia continues to be in a tough spot in their running back room. Both Roderick Robinson and Branson Robinson missed the Texas game, which essentially made Trevor Etienne a one-man army in the backfield. Thankfully Etienne responded well with three touchdowns, but we’d all much rather not have to rely on one back.
Roderick Robinson has already been ruled out for the Florida game, but Branson Robinson is questionable. So maybe UGA will have another back they can pair with Etienne next Saturday.
