Nishant drills the fourth to long off for another one. Ramandeep picks two with a clip between long on and mid wicket. A slap to long on gets Ramandeep a single.
Qais again. SIX! Ramandeep goes on his back foot to loft down the ground. A single to covers on the next. 11 runs from the over.
Sharafuddin Shareef to bowl. Badoni is GONE! He looks to slog sweep but only picks the long on fielder.

Badoni facing Janat, SIX! Hooks this delivery over fine leg. A single to deep mid wicket on the second. Ramandeep Singh off the mark on his first delivery. Badoni’s crisp drive is stopped by Qais, saves three runs for his side. Ramandeep late cuts to gets another run and keep the strike.
Qais Ahmed to Badoni, clips to square leg and gets one. SIX! Wadhera picks the wrong one and Wadhera picks it over long on. FOUR now! Another slog through the on side, this one is slightly squarer through mid wicket. FOUR again! Wadhera gets going. This one it cut through covers. Oh no, Nehal! He throws it away and is run out. He late cuts to third man and sets off for a single. He’s sent back by Badoni and does not return in time. No way there was a single on offer.

Badoni facing Janat, the first single comes off the third delivery through long on. FOUR to finish the over. Wadhera plays two straight dots. But the last one is on the pads and he glances it on its way.
Rahman to Badoni, a single through to third man. Wadhera clips the second through the on side for one run. Two runs for Badoni as he flicks this into the gap between square leg and mid wicket. A single on the penultimate delivery.
Karim Janat to Badoni, FOUR! Just a tad wide and Badoni cuts it past third man. He comes out of his crease for the next and clips it through mid wicket for one run. Wadhera pushes through covers for the sixth run of the over. Badoni runs it down to mid on for another run.
Abdul Rahman into the attack. Badoni clips the first delivery to square leg for one. Two runs for Tilak as he edges this slower delivery wide of the keeper. Tilak pulls the third over mid on to take two runs. OUT! Tilak looks to go straight but gets an edge to covers. A brilliant diving catch.

Ghazanfar for his third. OUT! Prabhsimran top-edges a pull shot, is caught inside the circle at mid off.

Badoni with a late cut to get three runs and get off the mark.
Bilal to Tilak. FOUR! A fraction of width and Tilak slaps it over point. FOUR again! Full from Bilal and Tilak lofts it over mid on. Third FOUR! Hit on the full and he slices it past short third. An inside edge through square leg gets Tilak a single. A single for Prabhsimran to finish the over.
Ghazanfar to bowl the next. SIX! Abhishek clubs this over mid wicket, slightly short and the southpaw pounces onto it. WICKET! Abhishek has picked the cover fielder on the third delivery.

Tilak Varma at No. 3. Loud appeal for leg before as Tilak misses his clip and is struck on the pad. Might just have been straying down leg. A single to mid on to finish the over.
Bilali Sami to Prabhsimran, dot! A cut off the middle of the blade but the cover fielder stops it. SIX! Slices the second delivery over backward point. FOUR! This time the cut is squarer and picks the fence. FOUR again! This is absolutely creamed through covers. Almost! Prabhsimran slices his slog through the on side and just about survives getting caught at mid on, just one run.
Ghazanfar to Prabhsimran, clips the third delivery to mid wicket for a single. Abhishek drives the fifth to long off for a single. A third single to finish the over as Prabhsimran pokes the ball towards the on side with soft hands.
Abhishek Sharma and Prabhsimran Singh begin the 207-run chase.
Allah Ghazanfar to start for Afghanistan.
Rasikh for the final over. Ishaq gets two runs, he chips it over the infield. Abhishek tries to run back from mid off and gets to it but fails to gather it. A single to covers on the third delivery. Rasikh goes too wide, will have to bowl that again. He bowls another one angling across but this one is over the line. Janat not happy on that not being given a wide. Janat is caught at long off.

Anshul Kamboj for his third. SIX! Another delivery that is put up for the pickings, Janat smacks this over long on. Anshul fires the second in the block hole, dug out to long on for one. SIX more! Short and Ishaq pulls it over square leg. Ishaq cannot execute a ramp, settles for a single off his toe end. Two runs off the final delivery.
Rasikh to Atal, FOUR! In the slot and Atal gently scoops it over mid off. FOUR! A full toss and Atal slams it down the ground. BOWLED HIM! Atal wants to ramp this over fine leg, beaten by pace and sees the leg stump broken.

Ishaq Rashid sees out the hat-trick ball, a slower delivery, and picks a single. Karim Janat picks two on the final delivery.
Aaqib to Janat, two runs as Janat slaps through covers. SIX! Janat reads the slower one and hoists it over long on. FOUR! A slap between covers and mid off. Rahul Chahar makes a diving stop but his foot is on the rope. FOUR more! Full and Janat lofts it over mid off, one bounce and over the rope it goes. Two off the final delivery makes it 18 runs from the over.
Ramandeep Singh to bowl the next. FOUR! Too full and Janat drives it past mid off. FOUR more! Ramandeep foxes Atal with a slower one, and he miscues his slog. Badoni mistimes his dive and misses the catch and allows a boundary too.
Aaqib to Akbari. India is convinced it has the batter caught behind. This was in the block hole and Akbari fails to connect his slog. But the bat seems to have hit the ground. Drama! The third umpire says its OUT! The Afghanistan pair is talking to the umpires but there’s no changing the decision. The Afghanistan coach signals from the boundary, asking his batter to stay. To no avail, he has to walk back.

Karim Janat at No. 3. Taps his first delivery to deep cover for one. Appeals for lbw now but its not given. Karim gets one on his pads which he tucks away past fine leg for a boundary.
Rasikh to bowl his second. Just two runs from the over. A fantastic display of yorkers and change of pace.
Chahar for his third. SIX! Akbari clears his front foot to get to this wide delivery and smacks it over mid wicket. A no ball from Rahul Chahar. A free hit coming in and Atal will be on strike. SIX off the free hit and he’s bowled another no ball. SIX more! Another step out and he lofts this one over long on. SIX to close the over out, this time for Akbari. 31 runs off the over.
Badoni to Atal, a misfield at covers allows him a single. Akbari goes down the ground, does not time it and gets just one. Tilak makes up for the misfield earlier, makes a diving stop to keep a punch to just one run. FIFTY FOR AKBARI! Gets it in 33 balls with a drive to sweeper cover. FOUR through long off and that’s FIFTY FOR ATAL TOO.
Chahar again. He keeps the deliveries wide, bowls a couple of wrong one, forcing the batters to generate power for their shots. Succeeds in avoiding boundaries, just six off it.
Tilak Varma to bowl now. A short delivery to start with, Atal pulls but there is a deep mid wicket, keeps it down to a single. Akbari hits it back towards Tilak, who sees the ball escape his reach, allowing a single. On the pads, Atal places it to long on for another run. Another single to long on makes it four off the over.
SIX! Badoni is short once again and Atal rocks back into his crease to pull this over mid wicket. An appeal for stumping. Badoni floats this outside off, Atal leans in for a drive and is done by the turn. Prabhsimran takes the bails off in a flash and the third umpire has been called upon. The foot goes up in the air for a moment but he gets it down before the bails come off.
Rahul Chahar for the first time today. India needs a wicket from him. Full outside off, Akbari drives to sweeper cover for a single. Atal clips through long on off his back foot. SIX! In the slot from Chahar and this one disappears over mid wicket. Follows up with a wide. A single to deep cover on the fourth delivery. A single for Atal to end the over.
Another over for Badoni. Keeps it stump-to-stump in this over, gives away four singles. Some semblance of control for India in this over.
Aaqib to Akbari, SIX! That has been smoked over mid wicket. A single on the next delivery to point. The third is a slower one, Atal works it away to short fine and runs a quick single. FOUR! Akbari gets it in the slot and he crunches it past long on. FOUR more! Akbari just breaks his wrist on this late cut, picks the gap between backward point and third man. FOUR to finish. Short and wide and Akbari slaps this down the ground. 20 runs off the over.
Ayush Badoni into the attack. Akbari swats it through mid on for two runs. Slightly short from Badoni, Akbari pulls it, the man is getting under it but the ball lands short. FOUR! Atal shuffles across and slams it over third man.
Kamboj for his second. FOUR! Atal heaves it over the infield and the mid on fielder watches it sail over. SIX! Creams it over cover-point, not in full control of this but it still lands over the ropes. 16 runs from the over, a big one for Afghanistan.
A bowling change right away. Seven runs off it that includes a crisp cut through backward point for FOUR.
Aaqib Khan keeps it tight to the start the over. Akbari picks a FOUR through long off.
Kamboj to Akbari, FOUR! Wide and cut away through point. He tries to cut the second too, gets an under-edge to third man for a single. Atal gets off the mark with a run down to third man. Another tap to third man from Akbari, one run. The fifth is left alone by Atal.
